A city that appears to float, Venice is a place like no other. Not to mention, where else on the planet can you take a WATER TAXI to the airport?
We arrived in town late in the afternoon and started touring after getting settled into our hotel. Our guide put us onto water taxis just as golden hour began and I could not be more grateful to him. The light was perfect over a place that took our breath away!
